Hello to Alf and all members of The Thistle Pipes and Drums. Now second in command at the Army school of Piping and Highland drumming, after serving for many years in the Royal Scots, then finishing my soldier career as the Soveriegn´s Piper, prior to commission. Looking back, sadly the relationship between our bands never gained the momentum it should have for a number of reasons, however, do not think it is forgotten! I hope your band is thriving and, if I can do anything to help in my current appointment, get in touch.

Hej alla i bandet! Vill önska er alla en God Jul och ett Gott Nytt År! Jag kommer och besöker en träning i slutet av februari.

Hej försökte tidigare nå er på tel. Tar detta tillfälle att meddela er äldre i bandet att er gamla piper Kjell Borg har avlidit i canser i år. Han spelade med i PD Helicopter wing här på Västkusten till dess att sjukdomen tog honom vill någon fråga något i övrigt får ni gärna höra av er till mig. Hoppas ni får en trevlig höst med hälsningar från Västkusten.
