Ett gott nytt år önskas alla medlemmar i The Thistle Pipe Band

I am glad to see that the band is still continuing. I played in your band during the summer of 1972, while Per Colliander was the Pipe Major. The band included me on a trip to Copenhagen, and treated me to a visit to the Tivoli on my 21st birthday. Later in the summer we travelled to Scotland; when the rest of the band returned home to Sweden, I stayed on in the UK, and flew home to Canada ... where I have lived ever since. It has always been a novelty to say that I once played in a Swedish pipe band! If there are any members from 1972, please convey my greetings and thanks for a memorable summer in Sweden.
